Following the online certificated training, three mothers were invited to lead a “Parents Helping Parents” group at Salesianos do Porto. The invitation was extended to all parents, and due to the high number of registrations, two groups were formed. These groups meet every other Friday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and from 9 PM to 11 PM. The creation of these groups demonstrates the positive impact of the certified training, providing an ongoing space for developing positive discipline skills and strengthening family relationships. For parents, the bi-weekly meetings offer a continuous opportunity to discuss challenges, share experiences, and support each other in implementing positive discipline techniques at home. The enthusiastic response to the formation of these groups reflects the parents’ desire to improve their parenting skills and create more harmonious and respectful home environments.
